張?仃?1917年生于遼寧。中國(guó)當(dāng)代著名國(guó)畫(huà)家、漫畫(huà)家、壁畫(huà)家、書(shū)法家、工藝美術(shù)家、美術(shù)教育家、美術(shù)理論家。曾任中國(guó)文聯(lián)委員、中國(guó)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)常務(wù)理事、中國(guó)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)全國(guó)壁畫(huà)工作委員會(huì)主任委員、中國(guó)工藝美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)副理事長(zhǎng)、中國(guó)畫(huà)研究院院務(wù)委員、黃賓虹研究會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)、中央工藝美術(shù)學(xué)院教授、院長(zhǎng)、《1949—1989中國(guó)美術(shù)年鑒》顧問(wèn)。代表作有《巨木贊》 《蜀江碧》。
Zhang Ding, born in Liaoning in 1917, is a famous artist of traditional Chinese painting, cartoonist, muralist and calligrapher as well as a master of craft and art, art educator and art theorist in modern China. He served as a member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, vice president of China Artists Association, chairman of the National Mural Painting Committee of China Artists Association, vice president of China Arts and Crafts Association, a council member of Academy of Chinese Painting, etc. He used to be advisor to The Yearbook of China Fine Arts: 1949-1989. Zhang's representative works include Ode to the Giant Wood and Verdant Shujiang River.
